About The Role
The Brand Experience team develops innovative consumer experiences that enhance lives through products, services, and technologies. This role collaborates with the Brand Technical Lead and Product Manager to translate feature requirements and roadmaps into both code-based and non-code-based technical solutions.
The SAFe Agile Product Owner (PO) is responsible for defining and prioritizing the team backlog to ensure the delivery of value to customers and stakeholders. Working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), the PO collaborates closely with product management, Agile teams, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable user stories and features.
What You Will Do
Collaboration & Alignment:
- Work with Product Management to understand the vision, roadmap, and priorities.
- Align with development teams to Build, Test, and Deliver Brand Features with Project Teams, with market leading speed and quality
- Act as the primary liaison between the scrum team and stakeholders.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to clarify requirements, ensure alignment, and resolve dependencies impacting the team.
- Participate in PI (Planning Increment) planning, system demos, and inspect-and-adapt sessions.
- Regularly engages with stakeholders to gather feedback and validate delivered value
- Supports all standard SAFe ceremonies and reporting, including PI planning, iteration planning, daily standups, sprint and release reviews, backlog refinement, retrospectives, system demos, and I&A workshops.
- Receives and integrates UI designs from Automotive Design
Backlog Management:
- Own and maintain the team backlog, ensuring it is prioritized based on business value and dependencies.
- Creates clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Define Sprint and Release scope (what/when)
- Coordinates with scrum teams to define the work required to deliver each user story
Delivery & Value Assurance:
- Act as the voice of the customer for the team
- Ensure stories meet the Definition of Done and document any exceptions
- Accept completed stories and validate they meet business objectives.
- Monitor progress and adjust priorities as needed to maximize value delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Gather feedback and incorporate it into backlog refinement.
Authorities
- Backlog Ownership: full authority over the team backlog
- Acceptance of Work: whether a story meets the Definition of Done and acceptance criteria.
- Iteration Planning: determines what the team commits to during Iteration Planning
- Makes decisions on edge cases and functional details during development.
- Trade-Off Decisions between scope, time, and quality at the team level.
Accountabilities
- Ensure on-time deliveries that meet definition of done
- Coordination, maintenance, and reporting of Metrics/KPIs
Success Measures (KPIs)
- Backlog Health: % of backlog items refined and prioritized for upcoming sprints.
- Delivery Predictability: PI predictability score (target ≥ 80%).
- Feature Completion Rate: % of committed features delivered within PI.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Measured via quarterly surveys or feedback sessions.
- Cycle Time: Average time from story creation to completion.
- Quality Metrics: Defect rate per feature or story post-release.
- Value Delivery: Business value achieved vs. planned (as defined in PI objectives).
What You Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor or Master in electronics, embedded programming, software engineering, audio or related
- 6+ years of work experience in embedded software development and management fields. Among these, 3+ years of software development experience in the automotive electronic field and 3+ years of project lead or management work experience.
- Familiar with automotive V-model, and software engineering processes including requirements, design, coding, and testing
- Significant architectural knowledge of automotive infotainment and audio systems.
- Knowledge of features, strengths, and weaknesses of various software and hardware approaches, development, and delivery methodologies in the audio and computing realm
- Experience with Jira & Confluence. Able to create customized filters, dashboards, etc.
- Familiar with software process standards, such as Automotive SPICE, Misra, Agile etc.
- Fluent in English. Ability to communicate advanced and complex concepts and ideas persuasively and concisely to all levels of the business.
- Have a "whatever-it-takes" attitude using diplomatic leadership skills within a collaborative teamwork environment to accomplish the necessary results.

- Advanced degree in Management or Engineering Management
- Expertise in SAFE Agile Methodologies.
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification.
