Location: New Delhi (Travel to Project Sites as required)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain to lead procurement operations and supply chain management for utility-scale and rooftop solar EPC projects. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, logistics coordination, inventory management, and ensuring timely availability of materials to meet project schedules while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Management
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for solar EPC projects.
- Source and procure major project materials including:
- Solar PV Modules
- Inverters
- Mounting Structures
- Transformers
- HT/LT Panels
- Cables
- Earthing Materials
- SCADA & Monitoring Systems
- Balance of System (BOS) materials
- Prepare and evaluate RFQs, RFPs, and techno-commercial bids.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial agreements.
- Finalize Purchase Orders (POs) and contracts.
Supply Chain Management
- Plan procurement schedules aligned with project execution timelines.
- Coordinate with OEMs, manufacturers, transporters, and logistics partners.
- Ensure on-time delivery of project materials to multiple sites.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability.
- Minimize procurement lead times and supply chain risks.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop strategic vendors.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations based on:
- Quality
- Delivery
- Cost
- Service
- Maintain a qualified vendor database.
- Develop long-term relationships with key suppliers.
Contract & Commercial Management
- Review commercial terms and conditions.
- Manage Annual Rate Contracts (ARC), Framework Agreements, and Long-Term Supply Contracts.
- Ensure contractual compliance and documentation.
- Resolve commercial disputes with suppliers.
Cost Optimization
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing.
- Conduct market intelligence and price benchmarking.
- Identify alternate vendors and value engineering opportunities.
- Improve procurement efficiency while maintaining quality.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Projects

- Stores
- Site Teams
- Support project execution by ensuring timely procurement.
Logistics & Inventory
- Coordinate transportation and material dispatch.
- Monitor warehouse and site inventory.
- Ensure proper material tracking and documentation.
- Reduce excess inventory and material shortages.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Maintain proper procurement documentation.
- Ensure GST and statutory compliance in procurement activities.
- Follow ISO, HSE, and quality standards.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare procurement dashboards and reports.
- Track procurement budgets and savings.
- Monitor vendor performance metrics.
- Generate monthly procurement MIS and project-wise material status reports.
