Our client, a fast-growing aviation services company specializing in aircraft support, MRO, aviation logistics, and charter solutions, is seeking Manager - Sales & Procurement professionals with experience in aviation procurement/tender bids.
Responsibilities
- Detailed knowledge of NSN, NIIN, and MIL specifications
- Knowledge of import and export rules and regulations of relevant countries; should possess Hazmat, Shelf Life, and Dangerous Goods understanding
- Understanding and awareness of business policies, procedures, and processes
- Knowledge of procurement and invoicing processes, including PO payment terms
- Good reporting skills and knowledge of ERP systems with timely updates
- Accountable to commitments and focused on productivity
- Compile and analyze statistical data to help determine product buying prospects and establish price objectives
- Consult with suppliers, analyze supplier operations, and determine the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and required deadlines
- Evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, recommend suppliers, follow up on orders placed, verify deliveries, approve payments, and maintain necessary documentation
- Follow up on the end-to-end process of Procurement and Supply Chain
- Collate/generate MIS reports and market data, prepare presentations, and at times present the same in consultation with management; ensure support to accounts on payment collections beyond credit limits
- Do whatever needs to be done for all of the above, ethically
Prerequisites
- Any Graduate with strong industry experience; preference for Bachelor of Engineering in Aviation / AME
- Experience in Aviation Industry Sales and Procurement as mentioned in the JD
- Detail-oriented with a results-driven approach toward individual and team performance
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP modules
- Organized and able to effectively evaluate and prioritize workload
- Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
