boAt is one of India’s fastest-growing consumer electronics brands, redefining audio and
wearable experiences for millions of users. Within a short span, we have become the No.1
brand in India in our category and among the top global players in wearables.
We are building a future-ready, digital-first organization and are looking for a visionary
ecommerce leader to drive the next phase of growth across marketplaces.
Location: Gurugram ( On-Site)
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Marketing (Google & Meta)
- Plan, execute, and scale paid campaigns across Google Ads (Search, PMax, Shopping, YouTube) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram - Advantage+, Prospecting, Retargeting).
- Own monthly/quarterly media budgets; manage spend allocation across channels to hit blended CAC and ROAS targets.
- Build and maintain campaign structures, audience/creative testing frameworks, and bid strategies.
- Partner with creative/content teams to brief and iterate on ad creatives, copy, and landing pages based on performance data.
- Monitor and report on key metrics (CAC, ROAS, CTR, CVR, AOV) daily/weekly; flag anomalies and course-correct quickly.
- Stay ahead of platform updates (iOS tracking changes, Google's automation shifts, Meta's Advantage+ suite) and adapt strategy accordingly.
- Manage relationships with agency partners/freelancers, if applicable, and hold them accountable to performance benchmarks.
2. Retention Marketing
- Own retention channels - email, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, push notifications - and lifecycle marketing calendars (welcome series, abandoned cart, win-back, post-purchase, loyalty).
- Build segmentation and automation flows using tools like Klaviyo, WebEngage, MoEngage, or similar.
- Track and improve repeat purchase rate, customer LTV, and retention-driven revenue as a % of total D2C revenue.
- Collaborate with the brand/CRM team on personalization strategies (offers, content, timing) by customer cohort.
- Support strategic business initiatives from a legal and commercial perspective.
3. Website Funnel (End-to-End)
- Own the full-funnel view on Shopify: Session → Product View → Add to Cart → Checkout → Purchase.
- Identify drop-off points and drive CRO initiatives (landing page tests, checkout optimization, page speed, UX fixes) in collaboration with the website/product team.
- Set up and maintain funnel tracking, attribution, and dashboards (GA4, Shopify Analytics, Triple Whale/Northbeam or similar MMM/attribution tools).
- Run structured A/B tests on landing pages, PDPs, and checkout flow to improve conversion rate.
- Work closely with web dev/product teams to prioritize and ship CRO fixes.
4. Cross-Functional & Reporting
- Deliver weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable insights to leadership - covering acquisition, retention, and funnel health together, not in isolation.
- Coordinate with inventory/ops teams to align campaign pushes with stock availability, especially around sale events and new launches.
- Manage marketing budget planning and forecasting inputs for the D2C channel.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in performance marketing for a D2C/e-commerce brand (Shopify experience strongly preferred).
- Hands-on expertise running Google Ads and Meta Ads at meaningful monthly budgets (₹25L+/month preferred).
- Proven experience with retention/CRM tools (Klaviyo, WebEngage, MoEngage, Clevertap, or similar).
- Strong grasp of e-commerce funnel metrics and CRO fundamentals.
- Comfortable with GA4, Shopify Analytics, and at least one attribution/MMM tool.
- Analytical mindset: proficient in Excel/Sheets; SQL or basic data querying is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with creative, tech/web, and ops teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: experience managing performance marketing during high-volume sale events (BBD- equivalent, platform sale days).
