Position: Manager - People Excellence
Location: Bangalore
Function: Human Resources
Role Purpose:
Establish and lead the People Excellence capability by creating a trusted, governed and analytics-driven HR ecosystem. Transform HR data into business intelligence, improve employee experience across the lifecycle, strengthen HR data governance, and drive technology-enabled process excellence so leadership can make confident, data-backed people decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a single source of truth for HR data through governance, standardisation and ownership.
- Develop executive HR dashboards covering workforce, recruitment, attrition, performance, diversity, productivity and succession metrics.
- Understand the various aspects of employee lifecycle within Gleeds.
- Capable to independently handle hiring to exit, basically be the safety net for any sub-vertical in HR including and not limited to planning and managing employee engagement events including logistics.
- Design and continuously improve employee experience across the employee lifecycle.
- Lead employee listening initiatives including surveys, pulse checks and experience reviews.
- Create and maintain HR data dictionaries, reporting standards and metric definitions.
- Partake in data creation through generating various reports.
- Audit HR data periodically to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.
- Own HR reporting governance so leadership receives accurate, auditable and timely reports.
- Identify opportunities to automate HR processes using Keka, Microsoft 365 and other digital tools.
- Partner with HR Operations, Recruitment, L&D, Finance, IT and Business Leaders on strategic HR projects.
- Support competency framework implementation, succession planning, organisational effectiveness and workforce planning initiatives.
- Champion responsible adoption of AI where it creates measurable business value.
Governance Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain an HR Data Governance Framework.
- Define ownership for all critical HR datasets.
- Ensure version control and auditability of HR reports.
- Standardise workforce metrics across the organisation.
- Reduce dependence on manual validation by the Head of HR of all sub-verticals.
- Establish governance mechanisms that ensure HR data, reports, dashboards and workforce metrics are accurate, standardised, auditable and trusted by business leadership without requiring routine validation by the Head of HR.
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA in Human Resources or equivalent.
6–8 years of progressive HR experience.
Experience in People Analytics, HR Technology, Employee Experience, HR Transformation, HR Business Partnering or similar roles.
Industry experience is open; emphasis is on capability rather than sector.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
- Power BI / Power Query or equivalent
- HRMS reporting (Keka or similar)
- Conceptual clarity in HR fundamentals (mandatory)
- Data analysis and storytelling
- Survey design and interpretation
- Process mapping and continuous improvement
- Stakeholder management and executive presentations
