Role Description
The Manager – PDM leads a team responsible for managing product master data and engineering changes across Agile PLM and SAP. This role focuses on ensuring product and part data is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time throughout the product lifecycle. By providing clear direction, setting priorities, and maintaining quality standards, the manager helps keep operations running smoothly. Working closely with cross-functional teams, they play a key role in maintaining data integrity, meeting service expectations, and supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and overall business continuity through strong people and process management.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- This role will lead a team of PDM Change Management Engineers, owning end-to-end site-level PDM activities (NPI, ECO, PCN, obsolescence), ensuring compliance with global PDM processes and QMS standards, and maintaining accurate, audit-ready master data in Agile PLM and SAP.
- The individual will manage team priorities and SLAs, review high-risk changes, monitor performance and data quality, drive continuous improvement, support NPI execution, mitigate risks, and act as a key escalation point for cross-functional stakeholders while fostering team development.
- We are seeking a candidate with surgical domain exposure and strong experience in FDA regulatory compliance, particularly in antibodies, reagents, and formulation development, with a background in biotechnology or chemical sciences and familiarity with ISO’s.
- We’re looking for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in Product Data Management, Engineering Change Management, or similar master data roles within a manufacturing setup, including 3–5 years in team leadership.
- The ideal candidate brings a strong grasp of product structures, BOMs, revision control, and configuration management, along with hands-on experience in Agile PLM and SAP ERP (MM).
- You should be comfortable working in a global, multi-site environment, collaborating across functions, and balancing competing priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, an understanding of regulatory and quality requirements, and the ability to lead teams through change while ensuring stable delivery will be key to success in this role.
