Role Description The Manager of UV Coating Line and Thermal Glass Coating will oversee daily operations of the coating lines, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This full-time, on-site role is based in Surat and involves planning and scheduling jobs, monitoring production parameters, and maintaining consistent coating quality on glass products. The role includes supervising and training production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. The manager will optimize process settings, manage raw material usage, and implement quality checks across UV and thermal coating processes. Additional responsibilities include documenting production data, troubleshooting process issues, collaborating with other departments on delivery timelines, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of UV coating processes, thermal glass coating techniques, and related production equipment.
- Experience in managing manufacturing or coating lines, including team supervision and shift management.
- Understanding of quality control methods, inspection standards for coated glass, and basic troubleshooting of coating defects.
- Familiarity with industrial safety practices, handling of chemicals, and maintenance coordination in a plant environment.
- Ability to read technical specifications, interpret process parameters, and maintain accurate production records.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with production staff, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Preferred: Prior experience in glass manufacturing or surface coating industry; diploma or degree in engineering, materials science, or a related technical field.
- Capability to work on-site in Surat, manage multiple tasks, and support a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.
