Growth & strategy
- Provides quality leadership for Saint-Gobain’s internal and external customers in all assigned tasks,
while always upholding Saint-Gobain’s values establishing an environment and foundation for future
sales growth.
- Primary responsibility is to work with key Automobile cos like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra,
Tata etc, Indian Railways, Metro, Shipyards and their resp. OEM customers on driving specification and
approvals for Saint-Gobain insulation solution in the application domain of Automotive NVH parts, Rail
coach fabrication and air conditioning systems, Metro coach, Naval and commercial shipbuilding.
- To develop new customer and generate business opportunities in the Mobility sector.
- Responsible for market mapping, product management, positioning, segmentation & developing market
penetration strategies for the segment.
- To take feedback from Automotive customers and develop better and competitive solutions.
- Should work closely with Indian Railways for successful specification, approval and increasing business
share in their existing and new types of railcoaches.
- Should work with Indian Navy and other govt. and private shipbuilding companies to promote Saint-
Gobain Marine insulation solutions for Fire, Thermal and Acoustic (F.A.T) application.
Collaboration
- To work with R&D, NVH labs, and system-integrators to develop techno-commercially viable and value-
added insulation solution for the Mobility sector.
- Closely co-ordinate with all supporting functions to deliver upon the agreed business strategy.
Business Development
- To work independently with key customers, influencers or specifiers, govt. organisations and partners
to develop business through product approvals and specifications.
- Lead generation, management and successful conversion through solution oriented approach and
customer proximity
Kpi
- Product and specification approval in Automotive, Railways, Metro car and Shipbuilding applications
- Product Management (Market Segmentation, Positioning, Pricing)
- Development of new value-added solution
