Cairn Oil & Gas, a Vedanta Company, India’s largest private oil and gas producer, is looking to hire a Manager Mechanical. The incumbent will lead the technical authority for mechanical systems, supporting field maintenance and operations teams in achieving top‑quartile performance
.
Key Responsibilitie
- s:Supervise mechanical maintenance activities across pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, piping, and rotating equipmen
- t.Ensure compliance with statutory approvals (DGMS/OISD) and Cairn India HSE standard
- s.Develop and implement mechanical maintenance and integrity systems, standards, and competency framework
- s.Drive reliability initiatives including RCM, condition monitoring, and asset integrity program
- s.Plan and oversee shutdowns, preventive maintenance, and corrective action
- s.Provide technical solutions for operational problems and manage minor modification project
- s.Coach and develop mechanical engineers, ensuring continuous improvement and trainin
- g.Support audits, inspections, and performance review

Requiremen
- ts:Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years’ experien
- ce.At least 5 years in a Mechanical Superintendent role within Oil and Gas Indus
- tryStrong exposure to rotating equipment, piping, fabrication, rigging, lifting, and condition monitori
- ng.Knowledge of RCM, AO, VSAP, PTW/JSA syste
- ms.Proficiency in SAP PM/MM modules and MS Offi
- ce.Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skil
