We are looking for a Manager/ Senior Manager- Logistics & Warehousing based at our plant in Greater Noida.
Role Description:
- Responsible for ensuing dispatch operations run smoothly through thorough planning, flawless execution to plan and detailed MIS
- Managing customer orders / Indent inflow and having control check on orders.
- Ensure order/ Indent delivery as agreed SLA.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly/ Annualized MIS for dispatch department
- Interact with planning team on daily basis to resolve sales query regarding orders and supply.
- Fulfill business expectations in terms of dispatch of right quantity and quality material delivery in right time.
- Ensure daily Dispatch vehicle planning and Dispatch vehicle as per plan within agreed SLA.
- Ensure Modern trade dispatches with agreed TAT and shelf-life SLA.
- Lead for taking quote and obtain approval from authorized person for any market vehicle requirement.
- Product Shelf-life management, communication and alignment in case of any near expiry stocks
- Coordination with Transporter on daily basis and for vehicle call off vehicle placement and solve regular issues if any.
- Warehouse space management batch wise stocks storage and dispatches
- Ensure Material Movement from Production storage properly batch wise in warehouse.
- Ensure FIFO at the time of dispatches.
- Ensure daily physical verification of stocks and reconciliation if any gap vs book stocks.
- Vehicle management in plant and transit and track TAT of vehicles
- Freight bills Checking Issuing, Debit and credit notes of Transporter.
- Ensure month end closing activity and physical verifications.
- Ensure E waybill before releasing / receiving any vehicle and amendment if required.
- Ensure high quality GMP practice in the area.
- Ensure usage of PPEs in the area to ensure safety.
- Operate Systems in accordance with the safety guidelines for self & infrastructure safety ensure no accidents.
- Ensure proper dispatch of related documentation and record keeping and produce when required for any audit and other person.
- Support Multi skilling drive personal learning to team.
- Provide inputs to the dispatch team to improve service and KPI’s & deliver best of quality & safe products.
- Coordination with Manpower contractor and communicate daily manpower requirement.
- Competency to manage a large team of employees and to keep them engaged and motivated.
- Should be competent to define KRAs and assess the performance of team members objectively.
- Safety walkthrough on regular basis to build safety culture.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations or related field. An MBA or advanced certification in supply chain management is an advantage.
Experience in Years
- The candidate should have 8 to 10 years of experience in warehouse & logistics management, preferably within Food / FMCG Industry.
