Role Responsibilities

Lead and oversee end-to-end import and DAP shipment operations and related documentation ensuring on-time delivery with minimal demurrage and detention for the business.

Manage and evaluate logistics partners and service providers, and evalauting their performance based on a quarterly basis through structured reviews, corrective actions, and performance governance.

Drive freight cost optimization initiatives for the business through route optimization, rate negotiations, and process improvements.

Negotiate and finalize direct contractual freight agreements with key shipping lines for the business, reducing dependency on intermediaries and improving cost, capacity assurance, and service reliability.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including procurement, finance, sales, and operations to ensure seamless logistics execution aligned with business objectives.

Driving audits and safety within the business

Preferred Candidate Profile

More than 12 years of relevant functional experience with specialization.
