About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, ownership-driven individual to manage day-to-day operations and relationships with our lending partners — Banks & NBFCs. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to leadership, and the right person will grow into owning the full lending partnership function over time.
You will be the internal SPOC for all lender-related matters — from reconciliations and invoicing to integration coordination and new partner onboarding support. If you like having real ownership, solving operational problems, and working closely with external stakeholders, this role is for you.
Key responsibilities
1. Day-to-day lender operations (BAU)
• Own all BAU with active lending partners —invoicing, MIS & recon and SLA tracking
• Be the first point of contact for lenders on all operational matters
• Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies before they escalate
• Build and maintain trackers and dashboards for lender-level performance
2. Lender relationship management
• Serve as the primary SPOC for all active lending partners
• Build strong working-level relationships with lender ops and alliance teams
• Prepare and present periodic review decks; manage follow-ups from partner calls
• Handle escalations professionally and close them within agreed timelines
3. Integration & product coordination
• Coordinate with internal tech and product teams on any integration changes, API updates, or new product rollouts involving lenders
• Manage merchant whitelisting, product-level limit configurations, and lender approvals for new use cases
• Act as the bridge between lenders and internal teams — translate lender requirements into actionable tasks and track to closure
4. New lender onboarding support
• Support business leadership in identifying and engaging new lending partners
• Manage data room, coordinate due diligence documentation, and track integration milestones during onboarding
• Ensure go-live timelines are met by coordinating across lender, tech, legal, and finance teams
What we’re looking for
Must-have
• 2–4 years of experience in fintech operations, lending ops, or a banking/NBFC relationship role
• Comfortable working with Banks and NBFCs — you’ve been on calls with their teams, not just CCed on emails
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills — you can manage 3 different parties toward a deadline
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets for reconciliation, MIS, and reporting
• High ownership mindset — you close things rather than waiting for someone to remind you
Good to have
• Exposure to loan management systems (LMS/LOS) or basic API integration workflows
• Understanding of STPL, co-lending, FLDG, or embedded finance products
• Prior experience as a relationship-facing ops person with lenders
• Existing working relationships with Banks or NBFCs
