We Are Hiring: Project Manager – Vision Care Programs (Jharkhand)
About the Role
Care Netram is looking for a dynamic and mission-driven Project Manager to lead and manage vision care programs across Jharkhand. The role involves overseeing eye screening camps, stakeholder coordination, team management, and ensuring high-quality vision care delivery in underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution
- Plan and execute eye screening camps across districts
- Ensure high-quality vision screening and eyeglass dispensing
- Monitor day-to-day field operations and resolve operational challenges
Team Management
- Lead and manage optometrists, technicians, and field coordinators
- Conduct regular training, mentoring, and performance monitoring
- Ensure team productivity, accountability, and motivation
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with NGOs, CSR partners, School and local authorities
- Build and maintain strong relationships to support program growth and expansion
Operations & Logistics
- Manage inventory of frames, lenses, and vision screening equipment
- Ensure timely delivery of spectacles to beneficiaries
- Oversee camp logistics, travel planning, and operational readiness
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as screenings, conversions, and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate program data and reporting systems
- Share regular progress reports with leadership
Key Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred in Public Health, Management, or a related field
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in program or project management
- Prior experience in healthcare, NGO, or field-based programs preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in eye care or optometry programs
- Familiarity with rural and last-mile healthcare delivery models
- Willingness to travel extensively across Jharkhand
