Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ITGC Manager to lead IT General Control ( assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with SOX, SOC, and other regulatory frameworks In this critical role, you will work closely with IT, security, and audit teams to design, implement, and enhance effective IT control frameworks The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying gaps, recommending improvements, and staying updated on industry standards and emerging risks
Job Description: - Design and implement ITGC frameworks: Lead initiatives to design and deploy effective IT control frameworks and ensure they are well integrated with the company’s broader security and compliance strategy
- Risk identification and mitigation: Continuously assess the effectiveness of current ITGC processes and controls, identifying gaps and recommending improvements where necessary
- Audit support and collaboration: Provide critical support during internal and external audits, ensuring that all necessary documentation is available and that key compliance requirements are met
- Documentation reporting: Develop and maintain proper documentation for ITGC assessments, audits, and compliance activities Communicate findings to senior leadership and stakeholders clearly and effectively
- Training and development: Mentor junior staff members and help them develop their expertise in ITGC audits and frameworks
- Managing Workflow: Collaborate with client/engagement team to follow up on assignments and hold others accountable for their internal deadlines and administrative responsibilities
- Building team: Get actively involved in practice matters such as recruitment, scheduling, and retention
Requirements
Qualification & Experience
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security/Technology, Computer Science/Application, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Certifications: CISA/CPA/CA or ACCA certifications is required
- Experience:Minimum 6 7 years of experience in IT audits, risk management, compliance, or ITGC assessments in large organizations
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification
Software Proficiency
- Strong understanding of ITGC frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001 NIST, and other industry specific standards
- Proficiency with audit management tools and risk management software
