The Lean Six Sigma Manager leads highly complex, cross functional programs. The role is accountable for program deliverables, workstream dependencies, risks and issues, and achievement of documented goals and outcomes. The PM analyzes metrics and reports, recommends process improvements, manages program financials within approved funding, and oversees schedules and deliverables across workstreams—understanding how changes impact the critical path. The role leads others to solve complex problems, takes a broad, end-to-end perspective across design, development, business engagement, and team leadership, and influences stakeholders within and beyond the immediate group. The position may manage professional staff and/or multiple projects and will be responsible for reimagining end-to-end procurement workflows, ensuring they are not just "lean," but are architected for seamless integration with Dataverse, API-led automation, and Agentic AI.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Process Architecture & Design
- Lead process redesign initiatives with the explicit objective of enabling automation, system integration, and data‑driven decisioning—not just efficiency gains.
- Decompose complex, global procurement processes into implementable components that can be incrementally built, tested, and deployed by digital delivery teams.
- Translate future‑state process designs into concrete functional and data requirements that directly inform solution build activities. (Power Apps, Copilot Studio).
- Validate redesigned processes against real system constraints, including data availability, integration latency, and control requirements.
Strategic Program Management & Governance
- Own the "Critical Path" for major Procurement initiatives, managing complex interdependencies across Technology, Finance, and Procurement workstreams.
- Maintain rigorous RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, with a specific focus on navigating Fortune 50 governance, data privacy, and security hurdles.
- Ensure all process changes are "Audit-Ready" by maintaining comprehensive documentation that satisfies enterprise compliance and control standards.
Performance Intelligence & ROI
- Define success metrics that reflect sustained operational adoption and financial impact, not just theoretical savings or process compliance.
- Partner with Digital Solutions teams to instrument workflows and dashboards that measure real usage, cycle‑time reduction, and exception rates post‑deployment.
- Continuously reassess process designs based on production data, adjusting recommendations when outcomes diverge from intent.
Stakeholder Influence & Leadership
- Act as a "Change Agent" who can influence senior leaders across different time zones (US/India) to adopt radical new ways of working.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring a high standard of quality in process mapping, data analysis, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain; Master’s degree / MBA preferred.
- Certification: Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (essential) with a proven track record of delivering multi-million dollar efficiency gains.
- Experience: 6–8 years of experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs, ideally within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or Financial Services environment.
- Digital Fluency: Practical understanding of how processes integrate with APIs, Dataverse, and Snowflake. You don't need to code, but you must know how to design for these systems.
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced expertise in process modeling software (Visio, Signavio, etc.) and data visualization (Power BI/Agentic Canvas tools).
Skills And Competencies
- The "Automation Mindset": The ability to look at a manual process and immediately see where Agentic AI or Low-Code tools could be applied.
- Structural Thinking: Ability to decompose "messy" global processes into clean, logical, and scalable architectures.
- Executive Communication: High-gravity presence—capable of presenting complex transformation roadmaps to C-Suite stakeholders with clarity and candor.
- Resilience in Ambiguity: The stamina to drive "Continuous Improvement" within a highly governed, complex organizational matrix.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- On-site, Gurgaon, India
- Flexibility to coordinate with global stakeholders across varied time zones.
