Manager, Information Security
Summary of the role
- Act as a trusted security partner, supporting programs and product teams to meet defined security objectives.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Information Security Framework.
- Support alignment of security risk posture with business strategy and risk appetite.
- Provide security expertise across programs, projects, and pilot initiatives.
- Help demonstrate the business value of security through clear metrics and reporting.
Business Environment
You will join a global security function working closely with product, technology, and business teams across Amadeus. The role focuses on enabling secure solutions while supporting innovation, regulatory compliance, and business objectives in a collaborative, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and coordinate PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) program activities and track progress against security objectives.
- Serve as a security point of contact for product and delivery teams, embedding security processes into global frameworks and methodologies.
- Translate Corporate Security Policies into local and domain‑specific policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and architecture models.
- Perform security assessments for programs and projects, covering confidentiality, integrity, availability, and traceability requirements, and identify mitigation measures.
- Validate security design, architecture, processes, and regulatory compliance, and support secure implementation across project lifecycles.
What you will also contribute
- Explain security risks in clear business terms to support informed residual risk decisions.
- Manage and coordinate security‑focused Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilot initiatives.
- Provide security consulting and subject‑matter expertise to multiple business units.
- Collect and report metrics that demonstrate the business value of security activities.
- Conduct, coordinate, or support IT (Information Technology) Risk Assessments and audit plans.
