Role Description The Manager–Industry Connect will build and maintain strong relationships with employers to create meaningful career opportunities, internships, and exposure visits for Medha students and alumni. This full-time, on-site role based in Panchkula involves identifying and engaging industry partners, understanding their talent needs, and aligning those needs with Medha’s programs and student profiles. The role requires coordinating employer sessions, panel discussions, and networking events; collecting and sharing feedback with internal teams to improve student readiness; and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of all industry engagement activities. The Manager–Industry Connect will collaborate closely with program teams, counselors, and leadership to support placement outcomes, contribute to regional strategy, and represent Medha professionally in external forums.
Qualifications
- Relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging employers, corporate partners, or industry bodies.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written communication, public speaking, and professional presentation abilities.
- Planning and organizational skills, including event coordination, pipeline management, and timely reporting.
- Basic data analysis and documentation skills, spreadsheets, or similar systems to track partnerships and outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, work independently, and take initiative in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Relevant experience in placement, corporate relations, business development, or career services, preferably in the education or youth development sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Management, Social Sciences, Education, or related disciplines); a postgraduate degree is an advantage.
