The Role
We are looking for an execution-focused HRBP who can partner closely with business leaders across Store Operations and Central Functions within Instamart. This role requires someone who can operate seamlessly between strategic problem-solving and on-ground execution across a large, distributed workforce.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable navigating CXO conversations while also driving implementation rigor across frontline teams. You will work closely with business, HR COEs, and operations teams to build scalable people practices that directly impact business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders to drive people priorities aligned with organizational goals
- Support workforce planning, organization design, and capability building initiatives
- Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives across central and field teams
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on people-related matters including performance, team effectiveness, and employee relations
HR Project Management
- Own end-to-end execution of key HR projects from diagnosis to rollout and impact measurement
- Define project charters, milestones, success metrics, and governance mechanisms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR COEs and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- Build tracking and reporting frameworks to monitor adoption and effectiveness
Employee Lifecycle & Operations
- Drive seamless execution across onboarding, performance management, talent reviews, and exits
- Identify operational gaps and improve HR processes for scale and efficiency
- Support grievance handling and employee relations across corporate and frontline teams
- Ensure compliance with policies and people processes across locations
Change Management & Communication
- Design and execute communication plans for organization-wide people initiatives
- Create manager toolkits, FAQs, and employee-facing collateral to support adoption
- Partner with leaders to drive change management during organizational transitions
Data & Insights
- Use people metrics and analytics to identify trends and recommend interventions
- Track attrition, engagement, productivity, and workforce health indicators
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
COE Collaboration
- Partner closely with Rewards, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Payroll, and Compliance teams
- Translate central HR philosophy into practical execution for business teams
- Provide feedback from the ground to improve policies, frameworks, and employee experience
What We’re Looking For
- MBA / PGDM from a premier institute preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in HRBP, HR operations, consulting, or strategy roles
- Strong stakeholder management and project execution capabilities
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments with ambiguity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation
- High ownership mindset with a bias for action
- Empathy for frontline operations while staying aligned to business priorities
