Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and process-oriented HR Operations Manager to lead HR operations, employee lifecycle management, HR compliance, HR systems, and process governance. The role will be responsible for ensuring seamless HR service delivery, driving operational excellence, maintaining compliance, and enhancing employee experience through efficient HR processes and technology.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Leadership
- Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee movements, offboarding, and records management.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of all HR transactions and employee documentation.
- Establish and monitor HR operational KPIs, SLAs, and service delivery standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
- Ensure maintenance of accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Manage employee documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Payroll, Benefits & Compliance
- Partner with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Oversee statutory compliance activities, including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, labor laws, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage employee benefits administration, insurance programs, and vendor relationships.
- Support internal and external audits related to HR processes and compliance.
HR Systems & Analytics
- Manage HRMS platforms and ensure data integrity and system effectiveness.
- Drive HR digitization, automation, and process transformation initiatives.
- Develop and present HR dashboards, workforce analytics, and management reports.
- Leverage data insights to support decision-making and workforce planning.
Policy Governance & Process Excellence
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and process frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance standards and employment regulations.
- Lead process audits and identify opportunities for standardization and optimization.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor the HR Operations team, ensuring high levels of performance and service quality.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and business leaders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated employee and stakeholder queries related to HR operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, HR Administration, or HR Service Delivery.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, employee lifecycle management, and labor law compliance.
- Experience managing HRMS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar systems.
- Proven experience leading HR operations teams and managing service delivery.
