Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead end-to-end HR operations while acting as a strategic partner to management. The role will lead strategic HR initiatives, ensure strong compliance and governance, foster a high-performance and engaging work culture, and align people strategies with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Business Partnering
- Partner with management to align HR strategies with business goals
- Drive workforce planning, organization structuring, and manpower optimization
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all roles and functions
- Develop hiring strategies to ensure timely and quality talent acquisition
- Manage onboarding and induction processes
3. Statutory Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation
- Manage disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and employee dispute cases
- Support legal matters related to employees and coordination with legal advisors
- Drive POSH compliance by ensuring effective Internal Committee operations, conducting awareness sessions, and overseeing timely resolution and reporting of cases
4. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll inputs and coordination with accounts department
- Ensure accuracy in salary processing, statutory deductions, and final settlements
- Support compensation structuring, benchmarking, and cost optimization
5. Performance Management & Talent Development
- Design and drive performance management systems (KPIs, appraisals, feedback cycles)
- Identify training needs and implement learning & development initiatives
- Support succession planning and identify high-potential employees
6. Employee Engagement
- Foster a positive work culture and high employee engagement
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives, activities, and retention strategies
- Monitor employee satisfaction and recommend improvements
7. Employee Relations & Conflict Management
- Address employee grievances and ensure timely resolution
- Proactively manage workplace conflicts
- Counsel managers and employees on conflict resolution and best practices
8. HR Operations & HRMS Management
- Oversee and streamline end-to-end HR operations including attendance, leave management, employee lifecycle processes (onboarding to exit), and HRMS administration (e.g., Keka)
- Ensure smooth execution of exit processes including full & final settlements, documentation, and clearance formalities
- Ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and timely closure of all HR transactions and processes
9. Policy Governance & Process Excellence
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and SOPs
- Ensure consistent interpretation and enforcement of policies across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes
10. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage external vendors (recruitment agencies, consultants, BGV, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams
Qualifications and Experience:
- A post-graduate with specialization in HR
- 8–12 years of experience in end-to-end HR management
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or fashion industry preferred
