Job Title : HR Talent Acquisition (for Fabrication Unit for Drilling Tools)
Location : Chakan, Pune

Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Executive will be responsible for end-to-end hiring for the drilling tools
fabrication unit, ensuring timely availability of skilled manpower across shop floor,
supervisory, and technical roles. The role requires strong execution capability, vendor
management, and deep understanding of manufacturing hiring dynamics in a fast-paced,
project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Hiring
1. Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar, white-collar, and technical
roles
2. Source candidates through job portals, consultants, contractors, and local
hiring channels
3. Screen profiles, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate selection processes
4. Ensure timely closure of positions in line with business requirements
Shop Floor & Bulk Hiring
1. Lead bulk hiring for operators, welders, fitters, and technicians
2. Coordinate trade tests and skill assessments with production teams
3. Build and maintain a pipeline of skilled shop floor workforce
4. Ensure quick turnaround time for urgent and project-based hiring
Manpower Planning Coordination
1. Work closely with HR and plant leadership to understand manpower
requirements
2. Track hiring plans aligned with production ramp-up and project timelines
3. Maintain readiness for critical and high-demand roles
4. Support workforce planning for new projects and expansions
Vendor & Consultant Management
1. Coordinate with manpower agencies and recruitment consultants
2. Evaluate vendor performance on quality, speed, and cost
3. Negotiate commercial terms and control hiring costs
4. Build strong vendor partnerships for consistent talent supply
Payroll & HR Administration
1. Ensure smooth candidate experience throughout the hiring process
2. Manage offer roll-out, salary discussions, and joining formalities
3. Track offer acceptance and joining ratios
4. Minimize offer dropouts through proactive engagement
Employer Branding & Sourcing Initiatives
1. Support employer branding initiatives in local industrial areas
2. Participate in job fairs, campus hiring, and trade institutes outreach
3. Build talent pipelines for recurring and critical roles
4. Strengthen sourcing channels for niche fabrication skills
Compliance & Documentation
1. Ensure proper documentation and records for all hires
2. Maintain candidate data and recruitment records
3. Support audit requirements related to hiring processes
4. Ensure hiring practices comply with company policies and labor regulations
Qualification & Experience
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources
5-10 years of experience in manufacturing / fabrication / industrial setup
Strong exposure to employee relations and shop-floor HR
Strong experience in bulk hiring and shop-floor recruitment preferred
Technical Skills
Strong sourcing and screening capabilities
Knowledge of recruitment tools, job portals, and vendor networks
Understanding of manufacturing roles and skill requirements
Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Strong knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management
Working Conditions
Plant-based role with frequent field hiring and vendor coordination
Full-time (5 day working depending on plant operations)
Close coordination with operations, IR, and external hiring partners
Key Performance Indicators
Time-to-hire and position closure rate
Quality of hires and early attrition levels
Offer-to-joining ratio
Hiring cost efficiency
Effectiveness in bulk hiring and workforce availability
