CLIENT: Our client is a bulk transporter of coal across locations by rail, road and sea. It services, thermal power station, state electricity boards,railways, paper mills, cement plants and other manufacturing sectors.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a BD & Govt Sales professional to manage government relationships,pre- tendering activities. The incumbent will act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the client, government bodies, and internal stakeholders, ensuring proactive identification and conversion of business opportunities
Key Drivers:
- Drive business development and build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, particularly in:Coal and mining sector/State Electricity Boards (SEBs)/Power generation and distribution entities.
- Act as the primary interface for all communication between the client and government stakeholders.
- Identify emerging opportunities in coal movement, mining logistics, and power sector supply chains
- Provide real-time market intelligence and updates to Head Office for strategic decision-making and market update on opportunities.
- Track upcoming requirements for coal transportation and logistics support
- Continuously monitor government portals and networks for relevant tenders in:Coal /transportation/Mining logistics/Power sector supply chain
Incumbent Profile:
- Strong understanding of government tendering processes.
- Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of coal logistics, mining, or power sector value chains
- Commercial acumen and contract interpretation
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
ANNUAL COMPENSATION: 12-15LPA
