About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Fundraising to lead fundraising and resource mobilization initiatives by building strategic partnerships with corporates, CSR foundations, philanthropic organizations, government agencies, trusts, and institutional donors. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in fundraising, donor engagement, proposal development, and partnership management, with the ability to secure sustainable funding for impactful programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve annual fundraising targets.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with CSR partners, corporate donors, foundations, trusts, HNIs, government agencies, and institutional funders.
- Research funding opportunities and maintain a robust donor pipeline.
- Prepare high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, presentations, budgets, and funding applications.
- Lead end-to-end donor engagement, including prospecting, pitching, negotiations, onboarding, reporting, and stewardship.
- Collaborate with internal program teams to design fundable projects aligned with donor priorities.
- Monitor fundraising performance, donor commitments, and partnership progress through regular reporting and analysis.
- Ensure timely submission of donor reports, utilization reports, impact reports, and compliance documentation.
- Represent the organization at donor meetings, networking events, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships that support organizational growth and sustainability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Public Policy, Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, donor management, CSR partnerships, business development, or strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in securing funds from CSR, corporate donors, foundations, trusts, government agencies, or institutional donors.
- Strong understanding of CSR regulations, donor engagement, grant management, and partnership development.
- Excellent proposal writing, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple fundraising initiatives simultaneously and work collaboratively across teams.
