Manager – Finance Controller
(Accounts, MIS, Costing & Project Finance Control)

Experience & Qualification
Education:
Experience:
- 10 years in finance & accounts
- Experience in manufacturing / EPC project accounting preferred
Reporting
Reports to: CFO
Direct Team:
- Manager – Accounts, Tax & Compliance
- Executive – Treasury & Payables
- Executive – Receivables & Billing
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Books Closure
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual books finalization
- Ensure accurate Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet preparation
- Maintain financial integrity and accounting discipline
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
2. MIS, Dashboards & Business Analysis
- Lead preparation of monthly MIS for management review
- Provide financial dashboards covering:
- Revenue vs target
- Contribution margins
- Project margin tracking
- Working capital indicators
- Support CFO and management with data-backed financial insights
3. Product & Project Costing
- Oversee product costing structure and cost variance analysis
- Validate project costing assumptions before order booking
- Monitor project cost vs estimate during execution
- Ensure proper WIP valuation and project stage recognition
4. EPC Project Financial Control
- Maintain financial tracking for large EPC projects
- Monitor:
- Project billing milestones
- Cost-to-completion
- Margin tracking
- Support project team with project financial reporting
5. Project Receivables & Billing Monitoring
- Track milestone billing and customer receivables
- Monitor overdue receivables and escalation
- Coordinate with sales and project teams for payment follow-up
- Ensure receivable accuracy in financial statements
6. Bank Guarantees & Letters of Credit Monitoring
- Maintain register of BGs and LCs related to project contracts
- Track:
- BG issuance
- BG expiry dates
- BG invocation risk
- Coordinate with treasury for timely renewal or closure
7. Internal Controls & Financial Governance
- Ensure compliance with internal financial SOPs
- Strengthen internal controls for:
- Billing
- Payments
- Cost recognition
- Prevent financial leakage or process gaps
8. Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and GST audits
- Maintain audit schedules and documentation
- Ensure timely resolution of audit observations
9. Financial Data Integrity
- Act as single source of financial data accuracy
- Ensure ERP / accounting system alignment with MIS
- Maintain consistent reporting across departments
