Key Responsibilities – Manager (Equity Advisory)
Transaction Execution & Deal Management
- Lead end-to-end execution of equity fund-raising transactions including private equity, venture capital, and growth capital
- Manage deal lifecycle from mandate onboarding to closure, ensuring timelines and quality deliverables
- Work closely with senior leadership on structuring and negotiation of transactions
Financial Modeling & Valuation
- Build and review detailed financial models including operating models and valuation models (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions)
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess investment returns and risks
- Provide valuation insights and recommendations to clients and investors
Client Relationship Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients including promoters, founders, and CXOs
- Understand client requirements and provide strategic advisory on capital raising and growth plans
- Support senior team members in managing and growing key client relationships
Investor Outreach & Coordination
- Identify and engage with private equity funds, venture capital firms, family offices, and institutional investors
- Coordinate investor communication, meetings, and management presentations
- Track investor feedback and drive follow-ups to progress transactions
Pitchbooks & Deal Marketing
- Lead preparation of pitchbooks, investor presentations, teasers, and information memorandums (IMs)
- Develop compelling investment narratives aligned with investor expectations
- Ensure high-quality standards in content, analysis, and presentation
Due Diligence & Process Management
- Manage financial, commercial, and operational due diligence processes
- Coordinate with legal, tax, and other advisors during transactions
- Oversee data room management and ensure timely closure of diligence requirements
Market Research & Sector Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on industry sectors, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Track developments in private equity and venture capital markets
- Identify emerging opportunities and support business development initiatives
Team Management & Review
- Mentor and guide analysts and associates in financial modeling, research, and deliverables
- Review work outputs to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency
- Drive team efficiency in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Maintain and track deal pipeline, timelines, and key milestones
- Provide regular updates, MIS reports, and insights to senior leadership
- Ensure proper documentation of deal progress and client interactions
Regulatory & Compliance Awareness
- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and applicable transaction guidelines
- Maintain adherence to internal processes and governance standards
Ideal Candidate Profile
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (preferred) from a reputed institution
- 4–8 years of experience in investment banking, equity advisory, transaction advisory, or consulting
- Strong experience in financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution
- Exposure to private equity / venture capital transactions preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
