What We’re Looking For…

We are looking for a Manager, Engineer Test who will Lead, mentor, and manage an overseas QA engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development

What You’ll Be Doing…

• Work closely with QA Director to define the QA strategy, test processes, and quality standards across projects
• Drive adoption and maintenance of BDD practices using Gherkin and Cucumber
• Oversee automated and manual testing efforts across web, API, and infrastructure components
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC
• Ensure effective communication and alignment across geographically distributed teams and stakeholders
• Manage test planning, execution, reporting, and defect triage
• Support testing in virtualized and cloud environments, including VMware vCenter and AWS
• Continuously improve tooling, frameworks, and workflows to increase efficiency and test coverage
• Establish metrics and KPIs to track quality, team performance, and release readiness
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualities you possess…

Skills

You’re a self-starter, a problem solver, have excellent time-management skills and are open and collaborative. Plus, you’ve got the following skills:

• BS in Computer Science or related degree and 10+ years of quality assurance experience with 3+ years of management experience
• Proven experience as a QA Engineering Manager or Lead managing teams, preferably offshore or globally distributed
• Strong hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, including Gherkin and Cucumber
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure
• Working knowledge of VMware vCenter and virtualized infrastructure testing
• Demonstrable leadership experience, including coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, automation strategies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams across cultures and time zones
• Flexible working hours to synch up with US based teams
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST API testing tools)
• Experience integrating QA automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Prior experience scaling or rebuilding QA teams
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
