Role Description The Manager – Employee Transportation will oversee end-to-end employee commute operations for client organizations, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective transportation services. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida includes managing daily transport schedules, supervising fleet deployment, and coordinating with vendors, drivers, and internal stakeholders such as HR, Facilities, and Security. The manager will monitor service performance, handle incident and escalation management, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations. Responsibilities include demand forecasting, route optimization, and inventory control of transport-related assets, as well as preparing operational reports and analytics for leadership review. The role also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing employee experience, managing budgets, and supporting the implementation of new technologies and sustainability initiatives, including EV integration.
Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management and Inventory Management skills to oversee daily transport activities, asset utilization, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret data, optimize routes and costs, forecast demand, and prepare performance dashboards and reports.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to manage employee queries, handle escalations, liaise with internal teams, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Proven experience in employee transportation, facilities management, logistics, or related operations, preferably in large or multi-shift organizations.
- Understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to corporate transportation and employee commute programs.
- Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, work under time-sensitive conditions, and manage operations in 24x7 environments if required.
- Familiarity with transport management software, GPS tracking tools, and basic MS Excel or other reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications in logistics or operations management are an advantage.
