Designation: Manager – Digitalization Sales
Qualification : B.E. / B. Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Experience : 8 to 12 years in sales of IoT, instrumentation, Automation Products, or Water treatment solutions.

Job Purpose
Ø This is a pure hunter and growth role. The incumbent will be the face of our Digitalization Solutions business in their respective region – responsible for building a new revenue stream from ground up. Leveraging our established customer base across key industrial verticals, the candidate will drive awareness, generate leads, and close Digitalization product sales independently, as well as collaboratively with our cross-functional vertical teams. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is equally comfortable running alone in the field and working with internal teams to win deals.
Job Responsibility
1.Digitalization Sales – Business Development
· Own end-to-end Digitalization product sales in th e assigned region, from lead generation to deal closure.
· Identify and prospect new opportunities within existing accounts (Power, Steel, F&B, Pharma, Utilities, etc.) and untapped accounts.
· Develop and execute a regional sales plan with clearly defined targets, key accounts, and pipeline milestones.
· Conduct effective product presentations, discovery workshop, demos, and proof-of-concept discussions with plant engineers, project teams, and decision-makers.
· Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals; negotiate terms and close orders.
2. Customer & Market Engagement
· Build and nurture strong customer relationships, positioning the company as a trusted Digitalization partner.
· Capture customer requirements and translate them into product fitment and value propositions.
· Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points in water treatment automation.
· Provide regular field intelligence and customer feedback to the Reporting Manager and product teams.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with existing vertical sales teams (Power, Steel, F&B, Pharma) to identify cross-sell opportunities for Digitalization products within their established accounts.
· Building strong relationships with cross-functional teams while taking ownership of driving digitalization sales.
4. Reporting & Sales Administration
· Report directly to the Department Sales Head
· Provide weekly and monthly sales reports including sales activities, pipeline, customer interactions order bookings, and market insights.
· Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets for Digitalization products.
· This role involves frequent site visits and candidates should be comfortable with extensive travel.
· Establish metrics and dashboards for bid conversion, pricing realization, and proposal turnaround efficiency
· Drive adoption of tools (CRM, costing models, proposal repositories) and standardized processes
