Those in deal integration and valuation realisation at PwC will focus on assisting clients in successfully integrating acquisitions and maximising the value of their investments. You will be responsible for conducting valuations, financial analysis, and developing strategies for post-merger integration.
The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Deal Integration and Realization team you will lead strategic initiatives that enhance human capital management during mergers and acquisitions. As a Manager you will supervise and develop teams, manage client accounts, and drive engagement workstreams, quality deliverables that meet client expectations. This role offers the chance to leverage your knowledge in HR systems and analytics while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the success of our firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives to improve human capital management during mergers and
acquisitions
- Supervise and develop team members to enhance performance and deliverables
- Manage client accounts and confirm alignment with client expectations
- Drive engagement workstreams while maintaining elevated standards
- Utilize knowledge in HR systems and analytics to inform decision-making
- Mentor junior staff to foster their professional growth
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and innovation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
What You Must Have
- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management
- 7 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Experience with HR systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM)
- Exposure to HR analytics and workforce planning
- Prior experience in sign-to-close and post-deal engagements
- Familiarity with synergy modeling and cost baseline development Experience working in global delivery or distributed team models - Prior consulting experience across strategy, management, or HR transformation
What Sets You Apart
- MBA in Human Resource, Org. Development, or Strategy preferred
- 7 + years of experience
- Demonstrating experience in Human Capital M&A
- Understanding HR functional areas and change management
- Developing Day 1 and post-Day 1 HC work plans
- Leading operational integration or separation programs
- Managing projects and stakeholders effectively
- Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
- Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
