About the Role
As a Regional Manager - Channel Partner Acquisition, you will be the on-ground force driving Vahan's partner ecosystem in your region. You will own the full lifecycle of acquiring Vahan Leaders (VLs)/channel partners - from prospecting and pipeline-building to onboarding and early-stage success - while working closely with the Head of Channel Partner Acquisition to execute the national strategy locally.
You will also lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs) in your region, setting their targets, driving their performance, and building a high-output field team that scales with Vahan's growth.
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role for someone who thrives on the ground, understands the gig economy, and knows how to build trust-based relationships that drive business outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Partner Acquisition & Pipeline Management
- Own end-to-end partner acquisition for your region - sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding high-quality VLs/channel partners.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective partners using both inbound and outbound acquisition channels.
- Execute the regional rollout of centrally defined acquisition playbooks while adapting them to local market dynamics.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of BDEs and BDMs across your region, driving individual and team-level acquisition targets.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and build a culture of ownership and accountability within your team.
- Identify skill gaps and coach team members to improve sourcing quality, conversion rates, and partner engagement.
Onboarding & Early-Stage Enablement
- Drive structured onboarding for newly acquired partners, ensuring clarity on the Vahan platform, earning models, and performance expectations.
- Support partners through their first 90 days, ensuring activation, early success metrics, and strong platform engagement.
- Conduct regular field visits and check-ins to address partner queries, reinforce the value proposition, and deepen relationships.
Market Intelligence & Ecosystem Development
- Map your region's partner landscape - identify whitespace, competitive dynamics, and new acquisition opportunities.
- Build a strong on-ground network and cultivate trust-based relationships with key partners and local influencers.
- Share structured market feedback with the central team to continuously improve acquisition strategy and product-partner fit.
You'll Thrive in This Role If You
- Have 5-10 years of experience in sales, distribution, or channel acquisition - with strong on-ground execution experience.
- Have experience managing and developing field sales teams (BDEs/BDMs or equivalent).
- Have a track record of building and managing partner or distributor networks in your region.
- Understand the gig economy, last-mile distribution, or blue-collar workforce dynamics - prior exposure to FMCG, Telecom, Staffing, or large-scale field operations is a strong advantage.
- Are a natural relationship builder with the ability to instil trust and confidence in potential partners.
- Have a strong bias for action - you're comfortable working independently, prioritising ruthlessly, and closing fast.
- Can speak the regional language of your market and have existing networks you can leverage from day one.
- Are data-aware - comfortable tracking your own performance, maintaining pipeline hygiene, and reporting with clarity.
- Have a high tolerance for ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.

- West (Mumbai)
- South (Bengaluru)
- North (Delhi NCR)
- Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal / Indore)
Candidates must be based in their respective region. Significant on-ground travel within the region is expected.
