Position Title
Bid Manager
Position Summary
To lead the design and development of tender bids, complete with competitive pricing, cost scenarios, project plans and risk assessment
Position Demands

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities - Program manage and drive governance of various bids being participated in (from RFQ release to RFP submission) to ensure:
- Timeliness: adherence to defined milestones by members of various cross-functional teams
- Quality: relevant inputs and sign-offs on critical bid assumptions
- Conduct opportunity mapping in coordination with Head of Business Development to ensure all relevant bids in the pipeline mapped with relevant background data
- Develop guidelines, SOPs and estimation methodologies for developing bids
- Understanding of the entire value chain from (RFQ to RFP submission) and as such ability to work with multi-function teams across SCM, Design & Engineering, Finance and BD.
- Manage a team consisting of bid managers and bid support staff involved in day-to-day development of bid models and responses
- Enable various review committees to take suitable decisions on various bids (go vs no-go, cost estimates)
