Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Business Manager to drive business growth, client acquisition, and revenue generation in the stock market/broking domain. The role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and the ability to manage high-value clients and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships in the stock market segment
- Manage and lead a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) / Relationship Managers (RMs)
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business targets
- Build and maintain relationships with HNI/UHNI clients and institutional investors
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities
- Ensure cross-selling of financial products such as equities, derivatives, mutual funds, PMS, etc.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies
- Track team performance, provide guidance, and ensure target achievement
- Coordinate with internal teams (research, operations, compliance) for smooth client servicing
Key Requirements
- 6–12+ years of experience in stock broking / capital markets / wealth management
- Strong understanding of equity, derivatives, and financial products
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets
- Experience in managing teams and handling key client relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Finance or related field
- NISM certifications (Equity Derivatives / Research Analyst / Mutual Fund) preferred
