Job Description Summary
The Senior Manager - Internal Quality Assurance is a client-facing role responsible for driving quality excellence across Display, Programmatic, and Social channels. This position demands strong channel Subject Matter Expertise (SME) with hands-on knowledge of platforms such as CM360, DV360, and leading Social platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads), enabling end-to-end quality oversight across multiple media workflows.
The role owns the overall quality strategy, including reviewing and auditing work from onshore teams, and managing day-to-day feedback mechanisms to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to define quality expectations, lead quality governance forums, and translate client feedback into sustainable process and quality improvements.
Beyond operations, this role emphasizes people and process leadership: mentoring QA leads and analysts, facilitating quality forums, and enforcing adherence to SLAs, KPIs (Quality & TAT), SOPs, and compliance guidelines across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with business goals for Display, Programmatic, and Social media channels.
Conduct thorough audits and reviews of onshore team deliverables, identifying gaps in accuracy, compliance, and performance.
Manage client relationships by setting quality benchmarks, gathering feedback, and implementing actionable improvements.
Lead daily/weekly feedback loops, quality governance meetings, and cross-functional forums to drive continuous enhancement.
Mentor and develop QA leads and analysts, fostering a high-performance culture through training, coaching, and performance management.
Monitor and report on SLAs, KPIs (e.g., quality score >95%, TAT <24 hours), SOP adherence, and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to optimize media workflows and integrate quality checks at scale.
Identify process bottlenecks using data analytics and recommend tech-enabled solutions (e.g., automation tools for auditing).
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years in quality assurance, media operations, or ad tech, with 4+ years in a senior leadership role focused on Display/Programmatic/Social channels.
- Proven hands-on expertise with CM360, DV360, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and similar platforms.
- Track record of managing client-facing quality programs in a fast-paced agency or in-house media team.
Required Skills
- Technical: Advance level in ad platforms, media workflows, QA tools and data analytics.
- Quality Expertise: Certification or strong proficiency in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), Lean DMAIC methodologies, and quality tools.
- Leadership: Strong people management, mentoring, and stakeholder influence skills; experience leading distributed onshore/offshore teams.
- Analytical: Proficiency in KPI tracking, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication for client interactions, problem-solving under pressure, and adaptability to evolving ad tech trends.
- Tools/Tech: Advanced Excel, Zoho & BI tools for reporting.
