Zonal Head – Influencer Sales
Building Material Industry
Position Summary
The Zonal Head – Influencer Sales will be responsible for leading and driving influencer-led business growth across the assigned zone through strategic engagement with Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Contractors, Consultants, and Specifiers. The role requires strong leadership capabilities to build influencer networks, drive premium project sales, enhance product specifications, and strengthen the company’s market presence.
The incumbent will lead zonal influencer sales teams, collaborate with channel and project sales functions, and develop long-term business relationships to maximize revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Leadership
- Develop and execute zonal influencer sales strategies aligned with organizational business objectives.
- Drive specification sales and premium project business across residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, retail, and institutional segments.
- Lead zonal growth initiatives through influencer-driven business generation.
- Identify high-potential markets, emerging projects, and key business opportunities.
- Ensure achievement of zonal sales targets, profitability, and market share objectives.
Influencer Relationship Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with leading Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Builders, and PMC firms.
- Increase brand specifications and recommendations among key influencers.
- Develop strategic partnerships with top influencer accounts within the zone.
- Ensure continuous engagement and retention of key influencers.
- Guide teams in converting influencer relationships into sustainable business opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional and territory influencer sales teams.
- Set performance goals and monitor team productivity and effectiveness.
- Drive capability building through coaching, training, and market guidance.
- Ensure strong coordination between influencer sales, project sales, and channel sales teams.
- Build a high-performance, result-oriented culture.
Premium Project & Business Development
- Track large-scale premium and institutional projects across the zone.
- Facilitate project closures through coordination with dealers, contractors, and internal sales teams.
- Drive premium product penetration and specification conversion.
- Ensure effective management of project pipelines and business forecasting.
Marketing & Engagement Initiatives
- Conceptualize and execute zonal influencer engagement programs including:
- Architect and designer meets
- Knowledge seminars
- Product launch events
- Factory visits
- Dealer-influencer connect programs
- Loyalty and recognition initiatives
- Design zonal engagement plans for different influencer categories.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for branding and promotional activities.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
- Identify new growth opportunities and changing customer preferences.
- Provide market insights to senior management for strategic planning.
- Recommend improvements in products, services, and influencer engagement models.
MIS & Governance
- Review sales performance, project pipelines, and specification achievements regularly.
- Ensure timely submission of MIS reports, forecasts, and business reviews.
- Maintain discipline in CRM usage and project tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and processes.

Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Sales preferred.
Experience
- 12–18 years of experience in influencer sales, specification sales, project sales, or premium business development.
- Strong exposure to handling Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Consultants.
- Experience in leading multi-location sales teams.
- Proven track record in premium project business within the building material industry.
