About the Role
Gautam Solar Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven professional to join our Finance team as a Manager – Equity Investments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, building valuation models, supporting strategic investment decisions, and monitoring investment performance, with a focus on renewable energy and infrastructure opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and analyze equity investment opportunities in renewable energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and related sectors.
- Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, Comparable Company Analysis (Trading Comps), and Precedent Transaction Analysis.
- Conduct financial, commercial, and operational due diligence for potential investments.
- Perform industry research, market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and business feasibility studies.
- Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for senior management and the Investment Committee.
- Support transaction execution, negotiations, deal structuring, and documentation.
- Monitor portfolio company performance through financial analysis, KPI tracking, and periodic reporting.
- Work closely with internal finance, legal, strategy, and business teams, as well as external advisors.
- Evaluate project returns, investment risks, and capital allocation strategies.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory developments, and investment opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Expertise in Financial Statement Analysis.
- Experience with DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, and Investment Evaluation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple investment projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA / CFA (Level I, II, or Charterholder) / MBA (Finance).
- 4–8 years of experience in:
