Role Objective
To support and strengthen the Asset Management function by remotely monitoring solar plant performance, driving operational coordination with site teams and contractors, managing client communication, and ensuring timely reporting and resolution of operational issues across solar assets.
The role will also own operational MIS, DGRs, and monthly reporting processes to improve visibility, accountability, and plant performance.
Key Outcomes (What Success Looks Like)
- Continuous monitoring of solar assets with timely identification of performance deviations
- Strong ownership of DGRs, MISs, and Monthly Performance Reports
- Quick escalation and resolution of site faults and operational issues
- Improved plant availability and productivity through proactive monitoring
- Effective coordination with site teams, contractors, and clients
- Clear and timely communication with customers on operational performance
- Accurate operational reporting and maintenance of monitoring records
- Strong tracking of KPIs, SLA compliance, and site-level operational performance
Core Responsibilities
- Remotely monitor solar assets and track plant performance parameters
- Analyze generation trends, alarms, breakdowns, and performance deviations
- Coordinate with site teams and O&M contractors for timely issue resolution
- Manage and own Daily Generation Reports (DGRs), MIS reports, and Monthly Reports
- Drive client communication related to operational performance and reporting
- Support asset performance improvement initiatives through data analysis and tracking
- Identify recurring operational issues and support RCA and corrective actions
- Maintain monitoring logs, trackers, and operational records in the management system
- Track SLAs, availability, and key operational KPIs
- Work closely with GRACC, Asset Management, and Operations teams to improve operational visibility and execution
Experience & Capability Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in client handling and operational coordination preferred
- Strong reporting and MIS management capability

Education
B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
