Overview

At Intuit, our mission is to Power Prosperity for consumers and small businesses around the world. Intuit Data Exchange (IDX) is a foundational platform within Intuit that makes prosperity automatic by making data access effortless — acquiring and extracting data from any source, then verifying, enriching, mapping, and applying it to done-for-you experiences and automations across TurboTax, QuickBooks, CreditKarma, and Mailchimp, and beyond.

We are seeking a Manager 2, Product Design to lead design across two IDX domains: Document Management and Provider Integration. In this role, you’ll manage a team of product designers and guide them to deliver simple, high-quality experiences that eliminate friction, build customer confidence, and power the intelligent data flows at the heart of Intuit’s AI-driven products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of product designers, providing clear direction, coaching, and regular feedback to support their craft and career development.
  • Own end-to-end design quality across Document Management and Provider Integration — ensuring consistency of patterns, flows, and mental models.
  • Partner closely with product management and engineering to identify customer problems, define design requirements, track work in progress, and deliver it to consuming teams.
  • Champion standardized design tool use on the team to ensure consistency and clarity of processes and deliverables.
  • Oversee the application of AI in your domain’s design strategy and execution—delivering AI-assisted product experiences for customers and leveraging AI tools throughout the design process.
  • Drive adherence to design standards and practices on your team. Identify inconsistencies across experiences in the domain and oversee efforts to address them.
  • Balance long-term design strategy with a continuous cadence of shipping, iterating, and evolving the product.
  • Surface opportunities to improve processes, deliverables, and customer experiences across IDX.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, visual design, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience managing designers
  • Practical experience working on or contributing to complex, multi-surface product experiences with a strong sense of ownership
  • Exposure to design systems — a working understanding of component libraries, pattern governance, and design standards
  • A clear understanding and point of view on how generative and predictive AI will change product design, and how data-driven experiences can be delivered cohesively across web and mobile
  • Highly collaborative team spirit able to take in multiple points of view, synthesize decisions, and communicate outcomes across the organization
  • Mastery of design tools (we use Figma), agile development methodologies, and accessibility requirements, both in design and code
  • Artistry and excellence in simplifying complex ideas, identifying risks and dependencies, and delivering for customers within the constraints of technology
  • Confidence in managing through ambiguity with a track record of creative problem solving that demonstrates flexibility
  • A love for technology, and an insatiable curiosity for new tools to solve real problems
