About the Role
We are seeking a professionally mature and operationally strong HR professional to manage the Company’s HR operations, statutory compliance, payroll, recruitment, employee administration, and governance-related HR processes.
The role requires practical exposure to labour laws, payroll compliance, recruitment lifecycle management, office administration, employee documentation, and coordination with consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
The position is suitable for candidates who are comfortable working in a compliance-oriented, fast-growing fintech and institutional environment.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, attendance, leave management, appraisal coordination, and exit formalities.
- Maintain employee records, HR files, appointment letters, policy acknowledgements, and confidential documentation.
- Ensure proper HR documentation and audit-ready record management practices.
2. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Handle end-to-end payroll operations including salary processing, reimbursements, statutory deductions, and compliance coordination.
- Ensure timely compliance related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Bonus, Labour Welfare Fund, TDS, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with payroll consultants, auditors, and statutory authorities as required.
- Maintain compliance registers, filings, and statutory documentation.
3. Labour Law & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, Shops & Establishment requirements, local government regulations, and workplace-related statutory obligations.
- Support management in implementation and monitoring of HR compliance frameworks and internal governance processes.
- Coordinate for labour law notices, inspections, filings, and related documentation wherever applicable.
4. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and hiring requirements.
- Manage recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and hiring documentation.
- Work on improving hiring turnaround and recruitment processes.
5. Office Administration
- Supervise office administration and employee support operations.
- Coordinate with vendors, facility providers, and administrative service partners.
- Ensure operational discipline and smooth day-to-day office functioning.
6. Employee Relations & Organizational Coordination
- Maintain professional relationships with employees and support a disciplined and productive workplace environment.
- Address routine employee concerns and coordinate with management on HR matters.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, financial, and organizational information.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong practical knowledge of Labour Laws and statutory HR compliance.
- Experience in payroll processing and employee operations.
- Good understanding of taxation and compliance-related documentation.
- Strong recruitment and employee lifecycle management capability.
- Excellent command over Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong documentation, coordination, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to independently handle operational HR responsibilities with professionalism and integrity.
Educational Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in HR preferred
- LLB preferred
- Graduation mandatory
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in fintech, technology, consulting, banking, NBFC, or compliance-oriented organizations will be preferred.
- Candidates with exposure to audit-ready HR documentation and compliance coordination will be preferred.
- Ability to work in a structured, process-driven, and high-responsibility environment.
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, capability, and role fit.
