About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Manager – Retail Delivery & Fit-Outs for our upcoming premium shopping mall project in Asansol. This is a critical on-site role. You will be the primary nodal point responsible for coordinating with national and international retail brands, managing their fit-out process from design approval to execution, and ensuring seamless handover within strict timelines ahead of the grand mall launch.
Key Responsibilities:- Brand & Tenant Coordination: Act as the direct site contact for the project and design teams of incoming retail brands. Provide landlord site data (power, HVAC, structural, plumbing provisions).
- Fit-Out Compliance & Supervision: Review tenant design drawings against the mall’s Technical Manual and MEP guidelines. Monitor daily on-site fit-out execution for quality, safety, and compliance.
- Handover Management: Successfully manage the formal site handover to the brand’s contractors and execute the final joint inspection/takeover before the store launch.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with internal Projects, MEP, Leasing, and Facility Management teams to quickly resolve site bottlenecks.
- Timeline Tracking: Keep retail partners strictly aligned with the mall's master schedule to ensure maximum concurrent store openings by launch day.
What We Are Looking For:- Experience: 5 to 8 years of solid experience in retail fit-outs, store execution, or project coordination. Prior experience working on the developer/landlord side of a shopping mall project is highly preferred.
- Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial interiors, MEP coordination (HVAC, fire fighting, electrical loads), and proficiency in reading AutoCAD drawings.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage brand representatives confidently. High energy, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work under tight launch deadlines.
- Availability: Ready to join at the earliest and relocate/base permanently out of Asansol.
