We're hiring our Manager – Controllership & Corporate Finance at BorderPlus.
Most finance roles are about keeping the business running.
This one is about helping build it. You'll work directly with our Founder & CEO, owning the finance function across our entities in India, Germany, and Dubai. From controllership and treasury to fundraising, cross-border finance, compliance, and strategic projects—you'll have a front-row seat to how a global company scales.This isn't a role where you'll only close books.You'll help shape financial decisions that influence the company's growth.
What you'll own
📊 Controllership & Financial Reporting
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures across multiple entities.
- Drive financial consolidation and group reporting.
- Lead statutory audits and work closely with auditors.
- Ensure strong accounting controls, compliance, and financial hygiene.
🌍 Cross-Border Finance
- Manage finance operations across India, Germany, and Dubai.
- Handle transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and overseas subsidiary compliance.
- Work closely with international tax advisors and external consultants.
🏛️ Treasury & Corporate Finance
- Support debt fundraising and capital raise initiatives.
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, and working capital.
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure across EUR, AED, and INR.
- Coordinate structured financing, banking relationships, and capital structure activities.
🤝 Strategic Exposure
- Partner directly with the Founder & CEO on board reporting, fundraising, financial strategy, and special projects.
- Collaborate with bankers, auditors, company secretaries, trustees, and advisors across multiple geographies.
Who we're looking for
✔ Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2+ years of post-qualification experience
✔ Strong understanding of Indian GAAP, Companies Act, FEMA/RBI regulations, GST, and Income Tax
✔ Experience in statutory audits, consolidation, and multi-entity finance
✔ Exposure to cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, or international subsidiaries is a strong advantage
✔ Someone who enjoys building processes rather than simply following them
✔ High ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment
