Job Summary
The Manager – Channel and Partnerships is a strategic and execution-focused role responsible for establishing, managing, and scaling Genrobotics partner ecosystem across India. The incumbent will identify and onboard channel partners, system integrators, distributors, and institutional alliances in both Government and Private sectors, driving revenue through indirect sales channels while strengthening the Genrobotic brand nationwide. This is a high-impact, pan-India role requiring significant field engagement, stakeholder management, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Partner Development
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage channel partners, distributors, and resellers across all Indian states and UTs.
- Build a structured partner network covering key verticals: Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), Smart Cities, PWD, Defense, Utilities, and Private Industrial players.
- Define partner selection criteria, tiering frameworks, and incentive/commission structures aligned with Genrobotics business goals.
- Provide partners with product training, sales enablement tools, marketing collateral, and technical support to ensure competency and confidence.
- Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Forge MoUs and strategic alliances with government bodies, PSUs, industry associations, and private corporations for long-term commercial engagements.
- Collaborate with System Integrators (SIs) and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) firms for large-scale project deployments.
- Identify and pursue co-marketing, co-selling and co-development opportunities with complementary technology companies and OEMs.
- Government Sector Engagement
- Drive outreach to central government ministries, state government departments, municipal corporations, and defense establishments.
- Liaise with empanelment processes on GeM Portal, CPPP, and State Procurement Portals to expand Genrobotics government footprint.
- Support in tender tracking, partner-driven bid submissions, and pre-bid engagement with government counterparts.
- Revenue & Pipeline Management
- Own and drive the indirect sales revenue target through the channel and partnership ecosystem.
- Maintain an active pipeline of partner-led deals and provide regular forecasting and reporting to the Sales leadership.
- Monitor partner performance against agreed KPIs and take corrective actions to optimize results.
- Market Expansion & Brand Building
- Represent Genrobotic at industry events, trade exhibitions, government conclaves, and partner summits across India.
- Gather competitive intelligence and market insights to refine the channel strategy and product positioning.
- Support the marketing team with region-specific go-to-market activities through partner networks.
- Relationship Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all channel and partner-related communications and escalations.
- Build and nurture C-suite and senior-level relationships within partner organizations and key accounts.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams – Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal – for smooth partner onboarding and deal execution.
Education
Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience
5-12 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development in technology, capital equipment, industrial automation, or government sales domains.
