Zydus is hiring a Demand Planner to join the Global Demand & Supply Organisation (GDSO) at our corporate office in Ahmedabad. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with a strong academic background in operations and supply chain planning.

Role Overview
The Demand Planner will support demand planning activities for regulated markets, ensuring optimal product availability while balancing inventory norms and supply constraints. The role involves close collaboration with supply planning, manufacturing, marketing, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure product availability at the point of sale for regulated markets
- Analyze demand and supply data to identify business risks and opportunities
- Manage finished goods inventory across all levels in line with company norms
- Generate demand and requirement plans and coordinate with supply planning teams
- Address supply challenges through alternative planning options such as batch size optimization
- Review manufacturing plans and identify factors impacting finished goods availability
- Participate in MPRM, Campus S&OP, E‑S&OP, and S&OP forums
- Lead review discussions with business heads on critical projects
- Communicate supply scenarios to markets for monthly and short to mid-term planning
- Participate in marketing reviews covering forecasting gaps, non-moving inventory, and budget trends
- Collaborate with external partners on demand planning automation and system validation initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
- B.Tech / B.E (Industrial Engineering) + MBA (Operations as Major)
- 0–1 year of experience or relevant internship exposure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Interest in pharmaceutical demand planning and supply chain operations
