A schedule ‘A’, a MAHARATNA Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, with corporate headquarters at Kolkata, is the single largest coal-producing company in the world, having a manpower of 2.12 lakhs approximately. Qualification
- Mining - Degree in Mining Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks
- Civil - Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering With a minimum of 60% marks
- Electrical - Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering With a minimum of 60% marks
- Mechanical - Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering With a minimum of 60% marks
- System - Recognized 1st Class Degree in BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/I.T. or any 1st Class Degree with MCA.
- E&T - BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) in relevant branch of Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks
- Geology—M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Geology or Applied Geology or Geophysics or Applied Geophysics with a minimum of 60% marks
- Industrial Engineering - Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering With a minimum of 60% marks
- Rajbhasha (Hindi) - MA in Hindi with a minimum of 60% marks, and Graduation with Hindi and English as main subjects with 50% marks
- Company Secretary Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute having acquired Company Secretary qualification with Associate/ Fellow membership of ICSI. Preference would be given to those candidates who have worked in a listed Company
