About the Role:
We are currently seeking highly motivated Business Development & HR Summer Interns for a 2-3 month summer internship. This is a unique hybrid role designed for self-starters who want hands-on experience in both scaling a business locally and building the teams that make it happen.
This position operates remotely from your home city, but requires active, on-the-ground field work within your local area.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development (BDM)
● Local Lead Generation: Identify and map out potential partner restaurants, cafes, and diners within your city.
● Field Outreach: Actively visit local eateries, approach restaurant owners or managers, and confidently introduce the QuickBiteQR platform.
● Product Demonstrations: Conduct live, in-person demos to showcase how our contactless ordering system increases table turnover and boosts revenue.
● Client Management: Handle negotiations, close deals, and act as the primary point of contact for query resolution and onboarding support.
Human Resources (HR)
● Talent Acquisition: Assist in sourcing, screening, and recruiting new talent to help expand our local and national footprint.
● Team Management: Support daily operations by tracking team goals, coordinating communications, and fostering a positive, high-energy startup culture.
Requirements & Skills
● Education: Currently pursuing a BBA or MBA is preferred, but students or fresh graduates from any stream who possess a strong drive for sales are encouraged to apply.
● Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. You must be comfortable walking into businesses and initiating professional conversations.
● Hustle & Independence: A proactive, self-driven mindset. You thrive in a dynamic startup environment and can manage your own schedule effectively without micromanagement.
● Organization: Strong multitasking abilities to seamlessly juggle client follow-ups with HR recruitment pipelines.

● Internship Certificate: Awarded to all interns upon the successful completion of the 2-3 month tenure.
● Letter of Recommendation (LoR): Earn a formal, highly valuable Letter of Recommendation by hitting our core summer targets. Note: The LoR is exclusively awarded to interns who successfully close a minimum of 5 deals OR conduct a minimum of 20 direct, in-person client pitches/demos at restaurant locations within their city.
