Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented MIS Executive to manage data reporting, business dashboards, and operational analytics for SVC. This role is central to helping the leadership team make faster, data-backed decisions — and will work directly with the Owner and cross-functional teams including Sales, Production, and Accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Reporting
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports (sales, dispatch, inventory, receivables, production)
• Build and update dashboards in Excel / Google Sheets reflecting key business metrics
• Track lead status, follow-up pipelines, and conversion data from exhibitions and customer outreach
• Reconcile data across ERP, accounts, and operational registers to ensure single-source accuracy
Business Intelligence & Analysis
• Analyse GP (gross profit) by product, customer type, and segment; flag deviations
• Prepare SKU-level performance reports, dead-stock summaries, and pricing variance analyses
• Support credit monitoring — track outstanding, overdue, and PDC-based receivables against limits
• Assist with structured data inputs for business planning and BCI framework tracking
Systems & Coordination
• Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, and Production teams to collect timely and accurate data
• Maintain and improve existing Excel workbooks, trackers, and operational templates
• Assist in preparation of presentations, management reports, and meeting packs for leadership
• Support Tally / ERP data extraction and basic query handling
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field
• 2–3 years of hands-on MIS / data reporting experience (preferably in manufacturing or chemicals)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, charts, conditional formatting
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP or any other accounting/ERP software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large, multi-source datasets
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Gujarati/Hindi
Preferred
• Experience in specialty chemicals, pharma, or B2B manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with Google Sheets, basic Power BI or data visualisation tools
• Exposure to sales reporting, export documentation, or dispatch tracking
• Ability to build reports independently with minimal supervision
