Position Overview
As a Managed Services Technical Lead, you will serve as a subject matter expert in implementing solutions and collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements. This role bridges technical expertise, agile delivery, and business communication to ensure deliverables are delivered on time and to standard. You will lead and mentor a high-performing technical team based in both India and US, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Governance
- Collaborate effectively across global time zones (Primarily US-based stakeholders) to ensure seamless delivery and handoff.
- Review and evaluate Salesforce enhancement requests and technical designs to ensure scalability, maintainability feasibility, and high-quality code standards (Apex/LWC) are met by both functional consultants and developers.
- Understand the overall Salesforce system architecture; contribute to extensions and maintain architectural documentation.
- Ensure that all declarative and programmatic solutions are built to handle large data volumes and enterprise-scale complexity without hitting platform governor limits.
- Prepare architectural diagrams and documentation for architectural review board approvals.
- Provide oversight of configurations, integrations, and development activities.
- Support Salesforce deployment planning in partnership with DevOps / release managers.
Delivery & Agile Practices
- Lead managed services enhancement delivery within agile/scrum frameworks.
- Track development and testing progress, ensuring transparency with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers to guide technical decisions.
- Partner with business stakeholders and DevOps / release managers to ensure timely delivery and risk mitigation.
- Ensure solutions meet defined objectives, SLA commitments, and governance requirements.
- Assist with complex incident resolution requiring Salesforce expertise.
Client Engagement & Communication
- Maintain clear communication with business stakeholders, providing status updates on enhancement progress.
- Translate technical solutions into business language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in recurring service reviews (monthly/quarterly) to demonstrate value delivered.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices.
- Promote agile practices, automation, and DevOps concepts within managed services.
- Establish and enforce rigorous code review processes, ensuring all customizations follow Salesforce best practices and minimize technical debt.
- Identify opportunities to streamline enhancement delivery and improve quality.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or senior developer capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other relevant Salesforce products.
- Salesforce certifications preferred (Admin, Platform App Builder, platform Developer or Architect)
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization using declarative tools and experience with data modeling.
- Proven experience in debugging complex code and providing architectural guidance to developers and functional consultants to ensure robust solution delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with clients and internal teams.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management concepts.
- Commitment to staying up-to-date with Salesforce releases and industry trends.
