About the role

Malta International Airport plc is looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about working with people within an Airport environment, is willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. The following vacancy has arisen within the Airport Operations Department. Purpose of Position: To provide Operations Department management with administrative support in maintaining oversight of over-regulated and other operational processes. Main Responsibilities: Provide support to the planning and execution of the Business Continuity program Provide operations administration support Liaise and coordinate Operational administrative needs with other MIA Management employees and third-party stakeholders Attend and participate in classroom and/or online required training courses and programs Be familiar with the MIA Operations Manual and contribute to document updates, publication, and distribution Be conversant with Operations Safety Management and supporting software Be familiar with the operating environment, equipment and systems on the aerodrome and the Air Terminal Analyse, prepare and follow up on corrective action arising from operational and safety occurrences Process airfield passes related to but not limited to Security Visitor/Vehicle passes, and AVSEC permanent passes, including permitting systems to carry out operational duties on the airfield Process distribution of ADP Airside Cautionary Notices. Follow up on requested feedback from ADP holder's management Retain the currency status of aviation insurance policy documents held by third-party stakeholders; require renewal as necessary Maintain Operations Department regulated training records. Plan/organise the execution of training schedules ahead of validation date expiry Support, organise, and process requested feedback arising from Operations Internal Audit processes Provide support to the planning and execution of Customer Experience programs Maintain Operations Department generic records updated and systematically organised Participate in Operations Department meetings and maintain meeting minutes To report shortcomings immediately to the responsible department when noticing them and making sure that action is taken immediately to deal with them.
