The General Manager of Food & Beverage Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the F&B department to ensure exceptional service quality, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role requires strategic leadership to develop and implement business plans that align with the company’s goals while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The General Manager will lead a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and high performance. They will manage budgets, control costs, and analyze financial reports to drive revenue growth and optimize resource allocation. Ultimately, this position ensures that guests receive an outstanding dining experience that enhances the brand reputation and customer loyalty.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Hotel Hospitality in Food & Beverage a must
- Proven track record of managing multi-unit F&B operations or large-scale food service establishments.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations applicable to food and beverage operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within luxury hotels, resorts, or high-volume food service environments.
- Certification in Food Safety Management or ServSafe.
- Proficiency with F&B management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams and driving cultural change.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and catering services.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent quality and service excellence.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a skilled and motivated team focused on delivering superior guest experiences.
- Monitor financial performance by preparing budgets, controlling expenses, and analyzing sales reports to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional strategies that increase customer engagement and revenue.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction and positive reviews.
- Stay current with industry trends and innovations to continuously improve operational efficiency and customer offerings.
