About the Role:
The F & B Outlet Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of food and beverage outlets within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service and product quality. The supervisor will coordinate with kitchen and service teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience that meets both company standards and customer expectations. Additionally, the role involves monitoring inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and contributing to the outlet’s financial performance through effective cost control. Ultimately, the F & B Outlet Supervisor acts as a leader and motivator, fostering a positive work environment that drives team performance and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in hospitality management is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a food and beverage environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in food safety or related hospitality certifications.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Previous experience working in a high-volume or upscale food and beverage outlet.
- Basic financial acumen related to budgeting and cost control.
- Multilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the food and beverage outlet to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Manage, train, and motivate outlet staff to maintain high levels of customer service and operational excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders as necessary, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to achieve outlet profitability targets.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and quality food and beverage service.
- Prepare work schedules and manage labor costs while maintaining adequate staffing levels.
