Our user-friendly platform allows any member of an organization to efficiently track and report impact. Additionally, Makerble is a social media platform that keeps colleges, trustees, and funders updated on progress. Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is a unique combination of DevOps, SecOps, and Golang API development. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of our platform, which serves clients working with non-profits where every second counts. The ideal candidate will be available to respond to emergencies and work on immediate fixes. Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Tekton and ArgoCD. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform. Manage and optimize cloud services on AWS and Azure. Develop and integrate REST APIs using Golang and the Gin framework. Ensure the security and compliance of the platform. Perform database migrations and management using Postgres and Atlas. Collaborate with the development team to enhance backend systems. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and reliability. Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent issues. Note: If you're not an expert on DevOps but are willing to learn, you can apply to this role as well Required Skills Proficiency in Terraform, AWS, and Azure. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Tekton and ArgoCD. Strong knowledge of Golang and REST API development is an added advantage Familiarity with Postgres and backend development using the Gin framework. Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration. Experience with security best practices in a DevOps environment. Ability to perform database migrations using Atlas.
